Bug with Cuda encoding with iPod Edition

Post by JeromeFrance » Thu Apr 08, 2010 11:41 pm

Hello,
I was very happy with your product until recently.
I'm using now the latest version : 0.7.3 build 4612.

Since few weeks, when I try to encode any video file to mp4 (for my ipod) by selecting H264 (GPU/CUDA), I've got an error message : CUDA 1.2 Device 0 detected
I precise that I'm using : Intel Core 2 duo 4300 with a GPU nvidia Geforce 210 with the latest drivers (downloaded today).
Encoding with the CPU only is working fine (but slow!)
Apparently, I'm not the only one with this issue.
The only solution (provided by another guy on the forum : Vanamonde) seems to set a false date on my system. I put march instead of april : BAZINGA ! it works !
Seems to be a date bug...

Thanks to provide us with a solution more proper.

Regards

Jerome
