build 2338 and build 0.5.1pre
I have a DVD that mencoder cannot use '-dvd-device "H:\VIDEO_TS"', which is the default. Instead, it should be '-dvd-device "H:"'. I used the "Extra MEncoder Options" and "Extra MPlayer Options" to set that and it works fine in the preview and playback.
However, when I tell MediaCoder to encode the DVD, MediaCoder 'forgets' the extra option and therefore fails when it tries to use '-dvd-device "H:\VIDEO_TS"' in build 2338 or doesn't use a '-dvd-device' in build 2390.
I could not locate any setting that would override that behaviour.
In anycase, 2390 feels quite nice. ^_^

Just wanted to back up everling's request. THis is why we get sometimes a message indicating that mplayer or mencoder (both!) can't the dvd with libdvdcss.

up
-dvd-device "E:\VIDEO_TS" must be replaced by -dvd-device "E:" (tested on build 2448).
What you are doing is great stanley. Keep up this amazing job !!!!!!!!

Will do it.
Extra mencoder option is taken into account now.
