MC 0.5.0 => impossible to rotate w/o flip

Hi,
When I try to rotate 90 degrees the image, it would necessary flip it, which is quite boring when there is text to be read.
I'm using MC 0.5.0 from 08.01.2006
It's great software big up for the developping team !
