wrong audio duration (aac > mp3)

Post by bugz » Thu Jul 13, 2006 5:39 am

when i convert something from: mp3

to

source: mplayer
encoder: helix mp3 encoder
VBR

i get a aac file which duration is wrong. the duration of the original mp3 is 5 minutes, and the converted aac IS 5 minutes, but all popular media players (MPC, foobar, Mplayer etc.) say its 25 minutes :?

This has to be a bug i think, because when i do EXACTLY the same, but CBR everything goes fine....

You want to convert to aac? Helix MP3 produces MP3 files.
