MC freezes when trying to add tracks.

Hi there,
everytime when I try to add a track in MediaCoder, it freezes and uses 100% of CPU. I tried multiple things, but the only way to make the "add track" dialogue appear is to disable all my DVD/CDRW/DVDRW drives (3 total) via the device manager.
Is there a solution to this?

SATA: 2x 160 GB on Promise SATA150 TX2
PATA: 1x 80GB, DVD+/-RW, CDRW, DVD
