Clipping & Effects

Post by LinkSlayer64 » Mon Dec 17, 2007 1:03 pm

When I use this, it brings up the box, but if I try to play, it blinks, the screen does some stuff, changes to Vista Basic (no transpareny), goes back to normal, and the video is not played. I am using Windows Vista, and I run it as an Administrator. So any help as to why it does not play?, also, its the latest version mediacoder

Umm, so anyway to be able to get it to work, like, using it on another computer, will an XP work fine?

I use Vista, too. After brining up the clipping and effects dialog my system goes into the basic profile, too. However, after that I can play anything inside and play around with it. After closing the dialog aero returns.

Maybe your file is making the trouble? Tried to use another one?

Weird, are you using a version above build 3990? I only tried with these.

When we play in video with all versions of MediaCoder with Windows Vista, Aero is disabled.
I had the same problem with the early versions of VLC Media Player & Media Player Classic but it was fixed since.
I think that stanley could fix easily that.
