Make Mediacoder source non-Windows only.
I downloaded the source, and wanted to compile MediaCoder under Linux. I was not able to, because it is set to Windows only. If Microsoft Visual Studio wasn't used I could more easily compile MediaCoder for Linux.

Actually it could but you'd have to majorly edit the source to use the linux version of mplayer, mencoder and others, even some of the other encoders that have the linux companions, so yes STanley your right and yet your wrong, It would be better to start from scratchstanley wrote:MediaCoder can't be compiled on Linux. You can run it with Wine on Linux.
