Hello,
I've been able to convert M2TS files directly to FLV but I cannot get them to convert properly to MPEG2.
I've tried the DVD output in the extensions panel but the Sony camcorder outputs 16x9 video that has a native resolution of 1440x1080 so the aspect ratio is all screwy and the frame rate seems to be slower even though I select 29.97 (seems to actually encode to 25 fps).
Has anyone transcoded M2TS to MPEG2 (DVD - 720xXXX W/AC3)?
I've tried a whole bunch of different settings and it seems that I always get an encoder blocked error message.
(I sort of remember having the same sort of issues with MPEG2 in Gordian Knot and Virtual Dub a few years back)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

m2ts converter becomes a very popular M2TS video Conversion tool recently, not only can convert M2TS to all common video files, like M2TS to AVI Converter, M2TS to MPEG Converter, M2TS to WMV Converter, M2TS to MP4 Converter, M2TS to VOB Converter, M2TS to PC3 Converter, but also can convert to most popular audio files.
