Extracted VOB form DVD using Nero to create Nero VOB.
From created VOB to...AC3
a). VOB audio out to AC3 using StreamDumper:
System Error Report. Select Report or Don't Send>Exits MediaCoder.

b). VOB to AC3 using both Containers as FFMPEG. No Stream produced.

Thanks Stanley. Actually I want to extract the AC3 Audio stream from a VOB to AC3 audio, so switching Audio Off will kill this, yes?
I guess you met 'switch video Off'.

Pre 6a Build 3468 I just installed, Mplayer will not play the VOB file.
If it can't play it, you can't extract the necessary data to create conversions.
Added: To get it to play, I had to play the video in Nero ShowTime first, then MPlayer could play.
That said, even with that, Using FFMPEG for both Input and Output Container, I could not extract the Audio to AC3. It just says 'No Output created'.

Stream Dumper still does not work. No output created.
Also if you select the following MediaCoder Will Crash.

If MPlayer (act as decoder) can't play it, I really don't have a solution. This will up to MPlayer team so solve. I always keep the MPlayer/MEncoder release shipped with MediaCoder up-to-date. So the only thing can be done is wait.

BTW: I suspect the custom matrix of video stream is the issue.

MediaCoder 0.3.9 does that VOB with no problems at all, all using the same settings. It can't be Mplayer etc.

MediaCoder 0.3.9 does that VOB with no problems at all, all using the same settings.
Plays VOB.
However it won't do 'stream copy'

I download older versions and here's the result:-
0.5.1 pre12 Build2722
Plays VOB.
Can't do Stream Copy.
But does allow ffmpeg input container and output resulting in AC3 Audio file.

06.0 pre1a Build3325
Plays VOB.
Can't do either Stream Copy or ffmpeg to AC3.

It can't be Mplayer surely?
Stream Copy does not work at all. Do you know why?
