Build 5353: Resize in picture tab not correctly applied

Post by ruedigers » Mon Jan 21, 2013 11:50 pm

Hello,

I am reporting this as a bug to Build 5353, but I know this is a problem 5346 as well. It used to work in 5296 (as far as I can remember).

As you can see, I have the resize in picture tab set vor 432x324:

However, when I do the transcoding, it uses "432x320":

In the settings, it is correct as well "432x324":

Please advise if this is a bug indeed or if this is correct.

Kind Regards!

i think this is not a bug.
324 isn't divisible by 16 (and even 8), while 320 is.

Yes, each dimension should be divisible by 8.

Perhaps not a bug , but a too safely chosen limitation,
considering x264 has supported mod2 resolutions for 7+ years.
