CUDA and Xbox 360

Post by djsat2 » Sun May 02, 2010 3:20 am

Hello.
I've always used MeGUI to make my HD videos for my Xbox but I wanted to try MediaCoder as it's got a CUDA implementation and from my initial trials it seemed to be a lot faster.

Has anyone else tried this? If so what are the optimal settings for best quality, im not too bothered if the encode takes longer as it'll still probably be faster than what AVISynth and MeGUI can do.

I'm only really using MediaCoder to do the video part as I do the audio seperately and then MUX it all into an MKV in another application, my problem is that when I encode the video with MediaCoder/CUDA the audio/video doesn't sync up, looks like the vdeo framerate is slightly out 'somewhere' but I can't find a setting to force it to a specific rate or frame count as i could in my AVISynth scripts.

Thanks any help you guys can give.
