Correct format for: Sumvision Cyclone HDMI Micro

I've just bought one of these things http://www.blueunplugged.com/p.aspx?p=139167#moreinfo and seem to be having loads of problems finding a format that works on it, despite what everyone says.

I have a little camera which shoots vga avi files and it says unsupported, I try to convert the MP4 files from my HD hero and get unsupported format.

I seem to be getting on alright with MediaCoder for transcoding stuff from cameras and gettnig it to be able to be edited in Windows movie maker or loading to my Ipod, but this thing has me stumped.

The words sumvision or cyclone don't seem to come up in search here but I'm sort of hoping that someone can point me at some settings to produce a file this thing can play.
