PSP Edition: Convert from DVDs to MP4 wt subs

Hi, I'm dakedk2. This is my first time using this software and I've found myself some problems I can't solve. So I need you guys out there who's already fond this this software to help me. Here's my problem:
1. First I want to convert my DVD Movies to a MP4 MPEG4 HQ
2. I was thinking to make it a single file video, so I grouped 3 .VOB files
3. Then to add subtitles,I don't think this software can import subtitles from DVD, so I downloaded it from Internet (.sub file)
4. When I added the .sub file, I don't really know the settings, so I chose Render, ID 0 and fonts on default, but the subtitles didn't come out on the preview Video. So where did I go wrong with the subtitles? After then will the subtitles can work with grouped 3 videos part from the beginning part 1 VOB to part 3 VOB?
