Stopping Windows sleep mode while encoding

Hi,
Is there a way to stop Windows from going into sleep mode without manually changing the power settings while Mediacoder is actively running? Ideally, Sleep mode could happen again once the encoding is over. You'd think Windows would realize that the computer is busy when Mediacoder is working.
I'm using Win7 and Mediacoder Ipod/iPhone Edition. Google didn't help much, I'd rather not install executables from unknown websites.
