problem to transcode mp4/h.263(nero)/aac to mp4/AVC/aac

Hi everyone,

I have a video format mp4/nero (but the version of nero h.263 is the former, not the H.264/AVC) and I want to spend that mp4/avc/aac video. In fact it is a battery of 200 videos and I have this same problem with everyone:) I tried using cuda and x264 encoding with the same result.

Well, the problem I have is that when playing the video transcoded properly hear the audio but the video, it seems, is only keyframe to keyframe. The keyframe is fixed until the next key frame while playing or that is my impression.

Someone can tell me what configuration parameters could make the correct conversion?

Anyway I think this is the fault of decoder (although I'm not totally sure). The fact is that if I play from the original film mc with Mplayer and play well without any problem. However, if I choose for the video decoder (source) mplayer or mencoder I can think of this problem. It's strange. I have also noticed that in "properties" of the original video codec a bitrate is too low (something that surprises me a little).

I posted the video on megaupload (is 8 mb) order that you can see for yourselves:

The parameters of the original video mediainfo are these:

Well, do you think? is a configuration error or a failure of the program? tell me if it's a bug and will report to the section on bugs.

Thanks in advance
