009
Description: Incorrect video format settings
Possible causes:
You may have chosen an video format that is not supported by the selected or active encoder backend or multiplexer.
Solutions
Switch to another video format
Switch to another container format
for me it's impossible cause on that PC with that MediaCoder I've done the same procedure with same parametres for 1000 times..

What's your settings on Container tab?

the resource file is - Fringe.S02E11.720p.HDTV.x264-IMMERSE.mkv - normal MKV, as usual. nothing unordinary.

container tab:
Container - AVI
Multiplexer - Autoselect
Remuxer - (not choosen)

P.S. XviD4PSP and VirtualDubMod (with AviSynch) converting it without any problem.

Try set multiplexer for MP4Box or FFmpeg. If still no use leave with FFmpeg and set audio to enable and copy. In video tab Xvid should be on top and bottom selection.

If using new version #4595 (i think) try with source selected to ac3 if need to adjust the audio. Otherwise have audio enabled and copy selected.

In sound tab try with top tab original..... As i cannot tell you if the remap there works or how to use it, excpet make mono tracks. Then with FFmpeg as muxer it can (will) make crap ac3 files, well 'extensable wave files'. If get this try MP4Box for muxer, maybe need to update this if MP4Box doesn't work atm.

If need update for MP4Box i just read this.
MP4Box is a MP4 multiplexer. It can import MPEG-4 video, DivX, XviD, 3ivx, h264 etc, audio streams and subtitles into the .mp4 container. The end result is a compliant MP4 stream. It can also extract streams from a .mp4. MP4Box is a command line tool, but can be used with graphical user interfaces such as YAMB or my MP4box GUI. http://kurtnoise.free.fr/mp4tools

In mediacoder change this.

Settings
> Overall
> Video Options
>>>> 'Override FourCC of output video stream' [ here you write without spaces XVID ]
