MC failed to start -- iconv.dll was not found!!

I just installed 0.5.1-pre8 to see how it runs.
Now I get an error of: "iconv.dll was not found". Tried to unistall and go back to stable version, but no luck. Indicates "cannot find preferences".

I am now dead in the water...

Anybody got any tips how to get 0.5.1 running again?

UPDATE: Was able to delete everything and get 0.5.0 running. Installing 0.5.1 still gets iconv.dll not found error.

UPDATE2: Installed 0.5.0. Then installed 0.5.1 update 2596. I get Iconv.dll error. THEN, I found a copy of Iconv.dll in other directories on my computer (in this case Wireshark), and copied over to root directory of MC. Now it works. Looks like some kind of installer problem??

0.5.1-pre8 installer should contain iconv.dll. Are you using the full edition installer?

sorry for slow response. I was out the country on business...

I believe my first install used 0.5.1-pre8 (full), and that is when I started getting errors. In fact, when you click on DOWNLOAD on the web site, it takes you to "MediaCoder Full Edition * 0.5.1-pre (Changelog)", so I had installed the full edition...
