Can use QuickTime input plugin or DirectShow input driver or Avisynth script to import.
What is the purpose (AVI with VP7 and Vorbis)?

IT doesn't necessarily have to be an avi container if there is a better container for it to be??

MKV (Matroska).
But I do not understand why you want to use VP7 and Vorbis...

It appears that no matter what I try I get Audio stream and video stream cannot be muxed together, if I say continue anyway at the very end of the transcode I get Unsupported avi file bitstream not compliant.

So, encode audio and video separately and after mux A/V used MKVtoolnix (mkvmerge).

I guess I'll have to give that a try but MediaCoder should be able to encode MKV container with the VFW set to the vp7 codec and Vorbis audio??
I have been able to successfully export an AVI out of VirtualDub with audio off as I cannot get OGG Vorbis audio within virtualdub, even then I dont know if I want an AVI file.
So I guess this leads me to being stuck trying to use MediaCoder with MKV as the container Flash Video as the format and VFW - vp7.dll as the "Backend" VFW.... Right?
