How to encode several vobs to one avi?

Post by Robot » Fri Jul 07, 2006 11:01 pm

MediaCoder 0.5.0 pre8 working on my PC now :D Want to ask:

1. How to encode several vobs to one avi? Is that the button "add dir"? Are the files need to be rename to a sequence(*._01, *. _02)?

2. Will a Xvid+Lame(mp3) merging of the vobs give me a .avi that is non-syn in video and audio?(Please be honest, I want to make sure should I make this switch from Autogk to MediaCoder)

Actually my first experience with MediaCoder is very nice. Keep on good work 8)

1. You can try using the joiner mode in expert mode, but this is VERY experimental and limited and not well maintained. (recommended format: Xvid + mp3 in avi)
2. I can not promise that with all files it produce correct results. But with most files, there won't be sync problem especially with 0.5.0 (0.3.9 do has sync problem with more files).

Oh...... :(

So MediaCoder is mainly for one by one convertion, and I still need to keep Autogk on my PC, mainly for vob merging convertion...
