What will be installed with Mediacoder?

What will be installed with Mediacoder?

Hi all, I want to try Mediacoder to see if it is good for DVD/Vob => Xvid+mp3 convertion. Currently I am using Autogk, as you know it had already installed a dedicated copy of Xvid codec and some other applications(Avisynth, Vobsub, etc). Will the installation of Mediacoder corrupt them?

Read on the mainpage stating that:

# No need to install any media player, filter or codec
# Do not register any components into your system

These mean Mediacoder is one "self-contained" application?(not install several applications as GK and Autogk do?)

Also, what is the version of Xvid that coming with Mediacoder?

Everything that MediaCoder comes with are in it's folder after installation.
MediaCoder WILL NOT touch anything in your system, except for putting an entry in your "All Programs" menu and a creating a desktop icon.
