i can't really see why it didn't succeed. could you try using lame mp3 instead of nero aac? it seems that the combination of nero aac and mkv or mp4 can sometimes be problematic.

I'm having the same problem. Whether I use the iPod extension or bypass it and manually enter my desired settings, I get that error message.

When using MP4Box, Windows dumps this error, then MediaCoder gives Error 015:
----
MP4Box.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
----
EventType : BEX P1 : MP4Box.exe P2 : 0.0.0.0 P3 : 468a750d
P4 : MP4Box.exe P5 : 0.0.0.0 P6 : 468a750d P7 : 0000cef5
P8 : c0000409 P9 : 00000000
----
When I use any other muxer, I get MediaCoder Error 015, but Windows does not dump an error.

This occurs with any duration and quality settings, both MP4-AVP and H.264, AAC or MP3. Here is an example of my IN/OUT:

Screenshot of input file details: Image

Output settings: Anything in MP4 container.

VERY ODD: I don't get output to the output file specified (which makes sense because of the error), but I get an output file named with the format m4bout(some_number).mp4 in my output folder that contains the exact I requested, correct bitrates for audio and video, and perfectly muxed with no misalignments. Basically everything is right about this file except its name. It seems MediaCoder clears that though on the next transcode so I have to grab it and move it.

Swap MP4Box 0.4.5-Dev that's in "\Program Files\MediaCoder\tools" with MP4Box 0.4.4. Does it make a difference?

Guess MP4Box 0.4.5-Dev is still buggy. Glade it's working now.

On the first page where I posted the solution, you'll see MP4Box 0.4.4 that is hyperlinked (underline and colored in blue) that will direct you to the stable build of MP4Box. Once you've downloaded it on your system, you will need a utility that will extract the zip file that contains the program. When the content has been extracted, place MP4Box.exe under "C:\Program Files\MediaCoder\tools". Overwrite the existing MP4Box execute that is in the directory.
