Console Window

is there a way of logging console window info to a log file?

i have Enabled Logging to file set to true but it only seems to send Logger window info to the log :?

anybody figure out a way to log the console window activity to the log file?

Yes.
I'm setting Enable Logging to File on true - closed MediaCoder.
Open again - something transcoded.
Closed again and look at MediaCoder folder - i'm see mediacoder.log.

i have that setting enabled but it only logs activity from the logger window to the log file. i want the activity from the console window to be logged

I don't think MediaCoder can log the console window. If you want to log the text manually, you can use the mark and copy method in the console window.

To do this...

Right click the MC icon in the upper left corner of the console window. Select edit --> mark. Take your cursor and start from the beginning of the text and move the cursor down to the last part of the text while holding. Now that you have the text highlighted, right click the MC icon, edit --> copy. Save the text to notepad.

that its exactly the way i've been doing it i just thought there was a way of making MC log it automatically no biggie the program still owns the other MEncoder frontends :D
