way to delete commercials?

I have a movie that i recorded off my tv and i'm wanting to delete the commercials. I know there is the clip selection feature, but is there a better way of getting rid of multiple sections of a video?

I'm not sure how to do multiple cutting with MediaCoder...

But you could try using VirtualDub. If VirtualDub can't handle your input file, even after you try installing the correct codecs or media splitters, I would recommend you try using AviSynth to export it for VirtualDub to read from. VirtualDub has decent video cutting options.
