MKV problem

ok, so i got the latest version, well i had this error with the earlier versions too, but im trying to convert a mkv to avi, i kno that the end file should be 250mb, but while converting it will say done at 89mb, and when i checked the movie file, instead of being 23 min, it goes to 8 min, help plz. thx

Try using VirtualDubMod. It's an ancient program now, but it might do the job. Just make sure you "direct stream copy" the video stream and keep only one audio stream. If you have subtitles, you'll need a plugin to write that subtitle into the video stream.
