How to create 2 CD's

Post by rbender » Tue Jun 06, 2006 6:58 pm

Hi

I want to split a video in two pieces. The first part of exact 1 hour is simple. I use on the TIME TAB :
Start Position = 00:00
End Position = 1:00:00
Audio Delay = 00:00

Now I want to make the second one of the rest with the following parameters:
Start Position = 1:00:00
End Position = 00:00
Audio Delay = 00:00

But transcoding stops with "error" that nothing is transcoded.
How can I create the second without knowing the length of the video?

Hi.
I guess you've worked it out by now. For those that need a prompt....
End Position with 00:00 will mean that.
First high-lite the film in the top window.
Now select the 'Summary TAB' and see the length of your film.
Divide by 60 (I know you know this part  ), then enter the End Position as
the total time shown.
The film is still the same length. All you are doing is starting somewhere
else, that's all.

All the best
Charles
