How do I join 2 or more videos

I have done this in MediaCoder before by selecting all videos and grouping them before transcoding. Worked perfectly for years but lately it doesnt join the videos. For a result I only the first video in the list.
What to do?

I've join vob files successively ; think maybe the files your joining are different formats maybe
