Multiple Audio Track VOB files

Post by stebe » Sun Jun 04, 2006 8:33 am

I am having a small problem transcoding DVD VOB files with mediacoder. When the files have multiple audio tracks, for instance a director's commentary and the regular audio, the file only encodes with the commentary. I am unsure how to change this, I have added more channels to the container and flagged channels to match their numbers but am unsure if this is even where I'm supposed to do this.

Any advice?

Thanks,
stebe

stebe: you have to specify the aid(audio id) of your vob file.

first, play your vob file with MPUI (F5) and use tools -> audio track menu to find out which audio track is the one you want. in mose cases 128 is the main English audio track.
put the found audio id in the Audio ID box of the Audio tab.
