I just discovered MediaCoder. It's a sweet program and looks like you're on the right track as far as I can see. The PSP button and options stand out as the way this program should work.
I know you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth and all, but the interface is a little confusing. I have problems figuring out how to get tasks done the way I want. Where is the input and output file? Where are the controls for them? What option invalidates another. What are the defaults people usually use.
Maybe someone can post a step by step tutorial on a common task such as making a DVD out of home movies (videos).
