How can I append multiple video files without re-encoding them?

use virtual dub. it's trivial. just be sure to set the audio and video to direct stream copy then use the append option.

Sorry to bump this age old thread,

but don't we have any solution for this using the latest mediacoder version 0.8.18?

I intend to forget about virtualdub from now on, I feel like using mediacoder for the rest of my encoding stuffs.

i guess if you dragged in the files, selected them and right clicked the 'group' option.

then set the video option to copy video, it might work.

Even if the AVI files have identical parameters I don't think Group will work unless some encoding is done.
Maybe if it works, cosmicx could report back and let us know?
