converting for ipod

Post by naturefreak85 » Fri Jun 02, 2006 6:57 am

what are the settings for converting a video (preferably VOB file direct from DVD) to an ipod friendly format. Is it doable to convert the dvd in the program? If not, what progam should I use?

Hi. Sorry for the late reply.
Although I am not part of the MediaCoder Team, I am researching Video
and Audio for my own interests.
I am currently looking at Ipod. The resulting Ipod file is an MP4.

The Video Stream is H.264 with Audio stream as ACC LC
Video is 692Kbps, 320x240 (aspect at 4:3), 25fps using H.264
Audio is 48000kbps, 22KHz, 2 Channels, ACC LC

I am not sure about direct conversion from DVD. I'll have a look later.

I'll post in 'Tips And Guides' as soon as I have created the Ipod file.
If you do it before I do, please post all settings so we can benefit.

All the best
Charles
