Re: AudioCoder 5200 - converting to wave doesn't work
I have moved this topic to the Audio Edition forum.
May I suggest it would be more useful if you supplied details of the source file and indicate whether it plays in Audiocoder.
Thanks

Re: AudioCoder 5200 - converting to wave doesn't work
I'm not sure if play button in audiocoder even works for me, i tried pressing it for the wave file and for mp3 - nothing happens, but all usual audio players can play the file normally.meRobs wrote:I have moved this topic to the Audio Edition forum.

Re: AudioCoder 5200 - converting to wave doesn't work
I loaded your WAV file of 2.2 sec duration int MediaCoder 5230 and hit Pay: it worked.
I then converted with the following settings on Audio tab:
Format = PCM
Encoder = FFmpeg at 128 kbps
Souce = Auto
Resample = 48000 Kz
Container = default
and the output played in VLC.
I then converted with the following settings on Audio tab:
Format = PCM
Encoder = FFmpeg at 128 kbps
Souce = Auto
Resample = 48000 Kz
Container = default
and the output played in VLC.

Re: AudioCoder 5200 - converting to wave doesn't work
In MediaCoder (not AudioCoder) the selection of the Wavefirm encoder with PCM set as format gives " this format is unlikely to be suppoted by this encoder".

For me it doesn't say so, but won't load your ffmpeg variant.meRobs wrote:In MediaCoder (not AudioCoder) the selection of the Wavefirm encoder with PCM set as format gives " this format is unlikely to be suppoted by this encoder".
