Wonderful software
This program is WONDERFUL! I've been able to use this to convert movies to my iPod , HP iPAQ, and my PSP where commercial applications didn't even work. I learn new ways to use it every day, and I would use this program for nearly ALL my media conversion needs.
As a very new newbie I think you should make this a STICKY post.... Please be patient with us... and our endless, frequently repeatative questions.
To end your frustration maybe you can post a Glossary / Dictionary / How to Manual that is required reading for newbies....
Sticky that translates some of the commonly asked questions and terms so newbie can ask more intelligent questions. Questions from newbie could be answered by allowing posting from more advance users That would be helpful and save your time and energy. If you have this here I apologize as I have not found such a help file here ... but I am still looking.
I think you get such rank newbies because your program IS NEEDED to accomplish our own tasks and also seems to be the only one that works for the majority of the codex out there....
Thank you once again.
PS yes i lurked , used the search engines, read the FAQs, trying to find answers so not to bug anyone..

+1 from me!Prodoc wrote:I understand completely and I would like to thank you again for all the effort you have been and are putting in this great application. Like I said before, this program has a lot of potential and I can only hope that more developers deside to help you out in improving the program even more. Thank you and keep up the good work (taking your time)!

Hi Stanley,
Thanks for a great piece of software. I think it's the best software of its kind that one can get without spending hundreds of dollars on commercial software. Hope to send you a contribution in the near future.
I find the Wizard very helpful in setting up parameters for the different types of video files I need to convert from time to time. One suggestion I would make is to add a question about which encoder one wishes to use in the Wizard. That would have saved me a lot of grief recently when I didn't notice that the Auto box was checked for the encoder and X264 was the default. Needless to say I didn't get very good results when I tried to encode my .flv video to MPEG 2!
