I'm not sure how to do multiple cutting with MediaCoder... But you could try using VirtualDub. If VirtualDub can't handle your input file, even after you try installing the correct codecs or media splitters, I would recommend you try using AviSynth to export it for VirtualDub to read from. VirtualDu...

Try using VirtualDubMod. It's an ancient program now, but it might do the job. Just make sure you "direct stream copy" the video stream and keep only one audio stream. If you have subtitles, you'll need a plugin to write that subtitle into the video stream.

It's possible to load all the VOBs as a single movie stream and that might fix your audio problem. You'll need to look for the correct tools though.

Anything that MediaCoder will preview properly stands an excellent chance of being transcoded into anything else of your choice.

Sometimes it might be possible to modify the aspect ratio without reencoding. Could you cut say 3 seconds worth of the vid and upload it somewhere where we can download it and do some tests? I'm no an expert in this field, but anamorphic videos are videos where they are stored at 4:3 ratios but are ...

I read that VirtualDub has that feature in one of its betas.
Phaeron wrote:Yes. If you want to try it, head over to the Testing/Bug Reports forum and try 1.7.1 test-3, which has the animated GIF import/export code.

Actually, it's more dependent on whether there is a good command line encoder available than whether Stanley wishes to implement it. Last I heard, the Dirac codec still isn't optimised for performance. At least there have been rumblings of adding Dirac to FFMPEG since 2004, though the documentation ...

"nero mpeg4 decoder"? Is it for decoding the video for playback on your machine or is it for decoding MPEG-4 to encode as MPEG-2 when burning DVDs? Modern DVD players should be able to take MPEG-4 ASP (DivX or XviD) videos, so you should be able to just burn your movie DVD as a "data" DVD and it'll ...

Additional bugs found on Windows 2000 using snapshot 3139. There were a few missing files: libxml2.dll, iconv.dll and zlib1.dll. Also, I got: The procedure entry point GetProcessId could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll. A quick search reveals: GetProcessId() returns the proce...
