It could be an incomplete download thats corrupting your updater

With MediaCoder I never figured out how to get all the dvd tracks down to 1 avi file so I just used mencoder on it's own and used this command

uhmm thats not what I was talking about Stan. I meant Firefox the program not XULRunner I know all that. I've been playing around with firefox for some time now (and songbird too Great media player that looks like itunes but surfs the web too)

Not only that it may eliminate some of the need for firefox

Just a suggestion I think mediacoder could benefit from changing the current gui into a XUL based gui. one user in paticular seemed to have a bug in his mediacoder (Can't say what version/Build) but it would hopefully bring an end to the need of using firefox as it could use gecko as it's engine for...

This appears to be a mediacoder bug not something intentional I think

There is an update for mediacoder now. Try that and see if it works

heh in all my time using the program I never noticed that feature. (Then again I just use the main features of transcoding the whole thing in 1 swoop )
