Incorrect calculation from Add Track
Stanley: if you use the start times given in MediaInfo, as displayed in the Add Track window, the durations of each chapter will be correct.
I would appreciate it if you make this small change.

Re: Conversion for Adaptive Bitrate streaming
Sorry, my comments above express the keyframe interval in 'frames' since that is the way a GOP is expressed. Thus, a GOP equal to the framerate, say 25 for PAL, amounts to 1 sec (25 frames), and 5 sec represents a GOP of 5x25= 125 frames. This range is similar to the usual range I mentioned above. T...

Re: black bars top and bottom
It would help you understand what you are doing if you read the Guides on Aspect Ratio and on Cropping.
They are listed under Tips & Guides (link below).

Re: Conversion for Adaptive Bitrate streaming
If you want the encoder to choose what it wants over the range you suggest, set GOP = 1 ~ 5 (in the two panels), ie min-1 and max=5. It seems to me to be strange and unusual to want an interval at or near 1 because that would mean virtually all frames are I-frames (full), ie, uncompressed. Assuming ...

Re: Conversion for Adaptive Bitrate streaming
The keyframe interval is set on the x264 tab opposite the Video tab.
It is displayed as GOP and is expressed as a range.

Re: Error (13) when selecting Effect-Rotation
Yes, your success HuggiL is consistent with the advice in the Guide on Rotation, listed under Tips & Guides. However, the Guide suggests other choices for Resize and PAR. I guess I should have suggested the rotation guide earlier when I first saw this topic, but I had assumed that atIr had seen it s...

Re: MC forces Audio_1 from 5.1 to stereo
It is possible that MediaCoder is merely selecting the audio_0 stream instead of the audio_1.

Re: Build 5588 x64: MediaCoder does not start
In Windows 7, at the bottom of the monitor screen there is the "Start" button/Icon at far left and the "Show Desktop" at far right. To its left is the Time and Date and to its left, among others, is a small triangle facing up. It is the Show Hidden Icons button that I referred to. It will show some ...
