Re: Nvidia Kepler Hardware H.264 Encoder
I see you beat me to it; it is already here. However, every setting I try returns an error. Is it still only partially implemented, or is there a setting on my end I have to adjust?

Nvidia Kepler Hardware H.264 Encoder
Hello, Stanley.
Are you considering at all allowing for H.264 encoding using the Nvidia Kepler architecture (NVENC <https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-video-codec-sdk>) as opposed to its CUDAs? It's supposed to be even faster.

For the record, I believe that this topic is discussed in this thread.

Using QuickSync on a Sandy/Ivy? Bridge without Lucid VIRTU
While working through an issue with another piece of software that uses QS (MSI afterburner), I was pointed to a website that describes how to activate the Intel iGPU adapter without needing Lucid VIRTU running so that Mediacoder (and other programs) can access it directly. This tends to speed up th...

Re: 5560 causing GPU coding (both CUDA and intel)
I switched back to regular LUCID VIRTU and it still works. It seems that once the Intel drivers are updated, LUCID must be reinstalled. I still don't understand the issue with the colorspace, though.

Re: 5560 causing GPU coding (both CUDA and intel)
I think I may have solved it. Back to 5560x64. After multiple upload and downloads; uninstalls and reinstalls, I changed from VIRTU to VIRTU MVP (v1). I think this solved the imsdkenc.exe issue. The colorspace issue was seperate, and seems to be a result of choosing "Encoder Filters". You used to re...

5560 causing GPU coding (both CUDA and intel)
I have an i7-2600K and Nvidia GTX570. I haven't transcoded in about a year, but used to be able to use both CUDA and Intel transcoding with no issues. I just updated from 5330 to 5560 (x64), and I started getting constant "imsdkenc.exe has stopped working" errors. I realize a new version of the SDK ...

Re: Intel QuickSync Error 14
That's how I updated the drivers too, but I didn't realize that made a difference. Thanks for posting!briantokyo wrote:I sort of fixed it, turns out it doesn't work if you update the onboard video drivers from Windows Update; reinstalling the drivers by downloading the package from Intel site fixed it.
