Actually, the last install was 4106 with a 4108 update. I've removed everything and will start from scratch again in the AM. Thanks for your help and if you don't mind I'll pick up this saga again tomorrow.

Thanks for your patience. I upgraded to 4108 and the programs starts fine. But when I process the conversion, XP "encounters a problem and needs to close". But it doesn't close and instead I get the message from MC that it failed to load the encoder. It's possible that the encoder is absent or it do...
