No apparent problems, or if they do, problems that the Pre8 version could handle easily. Are there any old files I could try to replace newer ones with?

AVIsynth problems past Pre8

My .avs scripts will simply not be encoded by anything after pre8. It gived me the error message that tells me that I have incorrect settings and so on, and it has been a recurring problem not fixed in 3 builds. Do the new changes in the mencoder have a positive impact on Xvid, LAME or avisynth at a...

I tried that twice last night, nothing. I am using the exact same settings in both versions. Are there any significant upgrades that make it worth my upgrading right now anyways? Anything new for AVISynth? I like to stay as current as possible, and I would love to help you out on this, but I don't k...

Cant Transcode in Pre-9

I downlaoded and tried Pre-9, but I can't transcode anything. I was using XVid and joint-stereo LAME in an .avi, but no matter what the input source was, I always got an error message saying it couldn't transcode. I went back to pre-8, and everything was fine.

Alright, I solved this problem, but have run into another one. I decided to use the Normalize() function in AVISynth, because it really seemed to solve my problem, but that causes a problem with mediacoder. The problem is, while normalize is scanning the video for audio, which sometimes takes a coup...

AC3 in AVISynth?

I put my AC3 audio in the avs script, and it works out fine, but the audio is almost deadly silent. What does the audio converter do in this case? I am transforming it into a joint-stereo mp3. How does the audio converter downmix the AC3 audio? is that the problem? Im at a loss here. I know I could ...
