I know that CloneDVD Mobile [from SlySoft] is able to convert a DVD film [ie multiple VOB files to a single AVI and as that product is also based around MEncoder it must be possible, would it be possible for such a feature to be included in MediaCoder?

Ahh so VirtualDubMod is the tool for joining those AVI files. I'll give it a try. I tried the original VDub, but it doesn't like VBR MP3 audio, so I thought I'd try VDub-MP3-Freeze but that complained about the audio as well ...... I downloaded the latest full update from my local sourceforge mirror and got build 2306 which didn't fix the problem, so I downloaded the latest updater file and it gave me build 2320 - which I haven't been able to try yet.

Can you tell us what build this was fixed in please?
