Hi Charles: I downloaded and installed VEMODE and tried to convert a movie. It does a nice job of figuring out a lot of useful information on the source and output. I coverted it into an mp4 with the default settings for the iPod (Xvid codec and 128 kpbs aac). The resultant file plays fine in QT 7 a...

Also, when trying to bring up the same file in Quicktime 7 it denotes a Buffer overrun detected when trying to view the file. MP4 podcasts I get from iTunes play fine.

After succesfully creating an mp4 from vob using the tips here:

The mp4 plays fine in mplayer but crashes iTunes 6.0.4.2. Is there something I'm missing?
