Re: CUDA Broken on Build 5645 + New NVIDIA Driver

It's more than a rename, Stanley, it is a completely different function. NVENC uses the on-board chips similar to Intel Quicktime; not the CUDAs. In the past, you said that you did not have a card with these chips on it, which is why you did not add this functionality. Now that CUDA support is prett...

We always read your comments; they are usually clear enough that no request for clarification is needed :D

Thanks!

Re: Unable to connect to validation server

I had the same issue. You need to run mediacoder with admin privileges for it to be able to connect if you are on Win7. Perhaps that is the issue?

Re: Nvidia Kepler Hardware H.264 Encoder

I did find out from elsewhere (Afterburner) that NVIDIA charges the developer to use NVENC, unlike Intel's QS, so unless Stanley starts charging us for the software, I doubt that he will build in that finctionality. Maybe for those who purchase a premium package or donate??

Validation no longer appears to be valid

I donated to mediacoder a while ago (8/2012), and received a validation code. Recently, the nagware has started up again, and while I can save my code, I always get "Unable to contact validation server". Do some settings need to be changed? Are the donations only valid for one year?

Re: Nvidia Kepler Hardware H.264 Encoder

SDK v3.0 was released recently if you have a 600+ card on which to test.
