You could just rename the output files from .mpg to .m2v it can be done, however i understand that .mpg files cannot be readily muxed with more audio and subtitle. it will have to be demuxed to have the "real" .m2v (or the dvd video portion) ready to be muxed once again, only now more audio can be ...

is there a way, using mediacoder, to convert a video file, say xvid, to m2v (for use in creating dvd)?

Hi! New member here, and also new to MediaCoder. I was glad to have downloaded this software which has the potential of being the ideal transcoder.
