Is there a manual?
I like the program and have donated for life long updates.
I have many questions that a manual could answer.
But in the meantime should I pay the extra for the premium version.
I want set this up to Watch a folder with several subfolders.
Like video/tv/ABCD/season 1/episode 1.
Once all set up the program will find any new MKV and remux to MP4.
And also find any AVI and convert to mp4
And replace the mkv or avi with the mp4 and delete the original.
Can the Premium version do this?
thanks
Spike

Re: Is there a manual?
There there is no manual. It will take ages to write up the manual to explain every thing as there are so many settings and combinations of them.
When things work together, things work.

What an amazing response from stanley ( I assume somebody with authority to make a statement like that).stanley wrote:There there is no manual. It will take ages to write up the manual to explain every thing as there are so many settings and combinations of them.
Yet you are willing to take money.

The complexity of this is astounding. I do feel, though, given that I HAVE contributed to this, that some effort should be taken to document MediaCoder. Some of this could be crowd-sourced... how about a decent Wiki at least?

A wiki would allow you to crowd source the functionality of a manual.

Here is an idea Stanley
Now I know you have been working on this for 8 years!!
Do 1 section a month or even a year.
The most important sections for newbies are (sub-sections)
Generic (8)
User Interface (25)
Task (24)
Automation (16)
I mean really - you cannot do that??

11 years actually. Just no motivation to write up.
When things work together, things work.
