[solved] "previous transcoding session not completed"

Post by boardersparadise » Fri Aug 26, 2011 4:37 am

Hi. What should I do when I get this error?
I have tried "stop transcoding" and "skip current job", but the error persists ...
I even deleted the file from the job list and re-added it, but that didn't solve it.
thank you

I have never seen this error.
However, one possiblity is that FFmpeg, MEncoder or some other utility is in use and hung up.
Open Windows Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete) and look for a utility that is used in MediaCoder, one with a significant CPU usage.
Then hit "End Process".

yes, that's it exactly. ffmpeg was hung up (Mediacoder had already accumulated several ffmpeg instances)
I was just about to post that, you beat me :)
thank you
