I have no idea!
I just converted a VOB to MPEG4/AVI with Segmental Transcoding enabled for 3 segments.
Nothing different from normal.
I also checked the Time tab i build 4797 and 'Splt' was still greyed out, which is consistent with the Trim function not working!
