First off, I am totally grateful to have (FINALLY!) found a very intuitive and very novice- and advanced-user-friendly video/audio converter.
I currently have MediaCoder's 0.7.2 build 4560 installed, and I do not seem to find a feature that lets you use the source file's Modified Date & Time to the converted video. At least in my side of operations, this is useful for keeping track of dates that the movies were shot / captured / taken, especially for cameras (Digicams) that are incapable to supply MetaData or something similar to the movie they create.
If there is such a feature already, then I apologize for the lack of navigation around MediaCoder's interface.
Advanced Thank You Very Much! ^_^

Re: Encoding with Unchanged "Modified Date&Time" as source
I would also like this feature - it is essential for batch processing 1080p videos from my camera down to a format that my PC can cope with!!
Re: Encoding with Unchanged "Modified Date&Time" as source
I would need this option too, because otherwise the fine running mediacoder is't helpfull for homemade videos.

I'd be also glad for a feature to choose or keep the original date!
