MediaCoder multilingual support (translation help needed)
Re: MediaCoder multilingual support (translation help needed)
Hello,
I've been reviewing and updating the French translation of the UI for the latest versions (since 0.7.3.4602) and I have 2 questions about update 4666:
1) I can't seem to find where "Control Encoding Speed" (which is a new line in the lang file) gets displayed in Mediacoder - I'd like to check that I'm translating it correctly ;o)
2) I see "protocol" in the Streaming tab but can't find the matching text string in the lang file so it remains untranslated (though it only requires a final "e" for French but I guess other languages will need a bigger change!)
thanks in advance,
parisian (A.K.A Muriel)

oops! Correcting my previous post: I just found the location of "Control encoding speed". Forget about it. My second remark is the only relevant one!
Re: MediaCoder multilingual support (translation help needed)
Just e-mailed the latest French lang file to Stanley - text string for "Protocol" has been added and translated.

Re: MediaCoder multilingual support (translation help needed)
Hi,
I've updated the Hungarian language file, but as i'd mentioned before, i need more space at certain texts.
+ things, which are not translated (not in the XML):
- bottom headline texts (Latests News, etc.);
- at Preview, the drop-box items (Off/Inside/Outside) + the interval items;
- job type drop-down items (Normal, etc. on the right);
- at the general tab, priority items;
- at Video tab, the right pane got drop-down items;
- at Picture tab, the cut drop-down list items+on the right (drop-down);
- at Sound, channel/volume drop-down list items;
- at Time, share by items;
- at Subtitle, drop-down items
- at last tab "Remote and Local" or "Local Only"
- File info and other infos displayed in browser.
Where i need more space:
- Video tab, Output size (checkbox);
- Audio tab, No up-sample;
- Audio tab, Vorbis: Lowest/Highest;
- Speex: algorithmic quality, best and fastest; lowest and highest, denoise, volume noramlize;
- ARM: enable DTX (i need like 2 more char space)
- Picture tab: global (like 1-2 char space)
- Picture|Effects: field order, derring (3-4 char space);
- P.|Size: interlaced (like 1-2), width and height (2-3 more);
- P.|stacked file (4th tab, 2-3 more);
- P.|Delogo: width
- Sound|Gain: can translate it to "Kinyer", which is like 1-2 more char spaces;
- Subtitle|Global (1-2 more char spaces)
That's it for now, thanks for the great app!
Cheers,
Geza
