drop box / remove source / add to iTunes

I have tried a TON of video converters, and this one seems to be well ahead of any others when it comes to consistency and reliability. However, I still haven't managed to find all of the features I'm looking for in one place. These are some features I have found in other apps that would be extremely useful to me (and many others, I'm sure).

 I saw another post about having the app monitor a folder, and automatically convert files placed there. I would like to second this request. (I found this feature in Videora)

 Additionally, I would like to see an option to remove the source file once the conversion is complete.

 I am using the iPhone version, so I also think it would be very handy to have the app automatically add the converted file to iTunes. I'm not sure how hard/easy it is to do, but since I have seen this feature in another app, it would seem that iTunes itself includes features that allow another app to interact with it. (I found this feature in Videora)

With these features, I could FINALLY finish something I have been trying to accomplish for weeks: Completely automate my downloads of TV shows.

1) use TED (torrent episode downloader) to look for and download torrents for new shows. When found, they are opened in Azureus.

2) Azureus completes the download, and moves the completed file to a 'Done' folder.

3) MediaCoder finds the new video, and converts it.

4) iTunes will copy, but not move a file to the library, so converted videos are output to a !Import folder in the root folder where the library is stored.

5) MediaCoder removes the source file, since it is no longer needed or wanted.

6) MediaCoder 'pokes' iTunes, and iTunes adds the file to the library. With the 'keep folders organized' option turned on, the file will be moved by iTunes from the !Import folder to the appropriate folder in the library.

7) All I have to do is open iTunes, and watch the show, or sync it to my phone.

Since I would gladly pay for an application with this functionality (provided that unlike Videora it is stable), I would also be glad in this case to make a donation if it would help encourage these features being added. 8)

Scott

p.s. I'm using a Q9550 (Quad core 2.8Ghz) w/vista ultimate x64, and 8GB ram, so anything that would help take advantage of this would be a nice bonus as well.

Yes, both features would be very useful. The second one optionally.

I.

Isn't the "remove original file" option already in MediaCoder's settings dialogue? (Overall/Task...)

good question, I havent been able to get to the settings screen (ctrl-s), even after installing firefox. I assumed it was an issue with vista since it behaves that way on two separate machines. (one 64bit, one 32). Is there a way to set that flag in an xml file?

after changing the property for 'remove file after processing' from 'false' to 'true' conversions will not start at all, so it looks like this function is broken.
