Sony XAVC codec support

I have a Sony PXW-X180 video camera and Sony's support is lacking in the XAVC Long GoP 1920x1080 @ 59,94p at 50 Mbps. It is a new format and many NLEs are having trouble. XAVC INTRA support at 1080 59.94i at 112 Mbps is ok but it would be great if I could transcode to a more timeline friendly format. Any possibilities of this coming in the future? Thanks.
