I have a Video-Converter converting analog video in DV.
My plan would be to convert this 25 Mbits signal realtime in a 1Mbits Stream(X264). Would it be possible with Mediacoder to send this Stream to an other server (with dyndns-adress) in Internet and encode it there in HUFFYUV to edit?
This live transfer would be a very interested feature, if it worked reliable. It would be of course cool to be able send thus stream via 3G, UMTS or WIFI networks which are not soooo reliable. The client and the server-agents should work as well if the network performance rapidly changes (300-2000Kbits Upload). The server agent should keep the receiving as well if there is no connection for some seconds.
Would MC be able to do this?
